abbreviation for Card Verification Value: a number on a credit card or debit card (= a card used for payment), usually three digits (= individual numbers) on the back of the card, that is used to prove that the person making the payment has the card in their possession
The full credit card number is reprinted in the signature box and at the end of the number is the CVV. 信用卡的完整号码也打印在签名栏里。这个号码的后面是银行卡安全代码。
